Stat/Transfer Version Seven For Windows, Unix & Mac OS X

Stat/Transfer Version Seven forWindows features new read and write support for the following file formats:

  • Access XP
  • Fixed Format ASCII (Stat/Transfer Schema)
  • Excel XP
  • SAS Version 9
  • Stata Version 8

Stat/Transfer Version Seven will write fixed format ASCII data files accompanied by programs that will read the data into popular statistical packages. These are:

  • Fixed format ASCII with a SAS program
  • Fixed format ASCII with a SPSS program
  • Fixed format ASCII with a Stata program

and, as always,  includes support for all of the other formats you might need such as 1-2-3, Access, ASCII, Excel, ODBC, Paradox, SPSS and SAS, dBASE, S-Plus, Stata, and SYSTAT.  Click here for a complete list

Also new in Stat/Transfer are Seven is the following:

  • Support for extended (.A - .Z) missing values in SAS and Stata
  • Support for value labels for string variables
  • using wildcards.
