Stat/Transfer for Unix Stat/Transfer for Unix is available in two basic licensing modes. The first is user-based, by which you can purchase (or lease) a license for a specific number of Stat/Transfer users, who can use the software on any number or combination of machines. The second is machine-based. With this kind of license, the number of users is unlimited, but the software must be used on a single CPU. User-Based LicensingPersonal licenses, which are the most economical, permit use by a single individual on any combination of machines. The license file must be in the user’s home directory. User-based site licenses are priced on the basis of the cumulative number of individuals who use Stat/Transfer in an annual period -- Note, this is a license for cumulative, not simultaneous, use. Use may be on any number of machines and on any number of different unix-based hardware platforms. Workgroups of five or less individuals may purchase a license for a one time fee, while groups of 25 or 50 users are only available for an annual lease payment. The pricing is as follows:

Machine-Based Licensing Machine-based licenses free you from the worry of counting or estimating users. You simply install Stat/Transfer on a given machine and it can be used by an unlimited number of users. Machine licenses are available on an annual lease basis. |
