If you already own Stat/Transfer, you should periodically check this page to see if we have made any changes or improvements.  You can download these maintenance releases for free.

You must already own and have installed Stat/Transfer Version 8  or 9 in order to use the maintenance release for that version.

You should check to see which version of Stat/Transfer you have. For Windows and the Mac, after you open the program, select the About tab and look for the version information there. The Unix program will display the version number at startup.

Windows Maintenance Downloads

If you have Windows Version 8, you should download the final maintenance release of your version by clicking on the Download Version 8 button below. (You also might want to consider upgrading to Version 9.)

You can have Stat/Transfer automatically check for and download new maintenance versions for Version 9. See the Downloads page for details. If you wish to download a copy manually, then click on the Download Version 9 button below..

You must already have the appropriate version installed in order to use these files.

After you press the Download button below, a File Download box will appear in your browser and ask you if you want to Save or Open the file stupgdx.exe (where x is the version number). You can do either.

If you choose to save the file, put it in any temporary directory and then install the maintenance files by clicking on stupgdx.exe from the Windows Explorer or by opening a Run dialog box from the Start menu and typing in the file name stupgdx.exe.

If you choose to open the file, your browser will store it to a temporary directory and then run it for you.

Mac OS X Maintenance Downloads

Please note. The maintenance releases for Mac OS X that you download are the same as the demo versions.  Your downloaded version will become a fully functioning copy as long as you already have Stat/Transfer installed on your computer.

If you have MacOS X Version  8, you should download the final maintenance release of your version by clicking on the Download Version 8 button below. (You also might want to consider upgrading to Version 9.)

You can have Stat/Transfer automatically check for and download new maintenance versions for Version 9. See the Downloads page for details. If you wish to download a copy manually, then click on the Download Version 9 button below.

After you press the Download button below, the disk image icon for the file stdemox.dmg will appear on your desktop (where x is the version number)..  Click on this icon and a new icon for StatTransferDemo will appear on your desktop.  Click on the StatTransferDemo icon, which will open up a window with an icon for st_demo.  Click on the st_demo icon. This will run the Installer.

You will be prompted to enter the name and password of a user on your computer with administrative privileges

Then select Easy Install. This will copy Stat/Transfer to your Applications folder and create a StatTransfer icon on your desktop. The demo files will be in your Documents folder in a subfolder named STDemo.

Unix Maintenance Downloads

Please note. The maintenance releases for Unix that you download are the same as the demo versions. Your downloaded version will become a fully functioning copy as long as you already have Stat/Transfer installed on your computer.

If you have Unix Version 8, you should download the final maintenance release of your version. Go to the Unix Version 8 Download page and download the appropriate Unix platform file. (You might also want to consider upgrading to Version 9.)

If you have Unix Version 9, you can check on whether or not you have the lastest release. Click on the button below 

If you find a later version than yours, then go to the Unix Download page and download the demo version.
